The IB Diploma Program consists of a broad range of subjects grouped into six subject groups: Language and Literature, Language Acquisition, Individuals and Societies, Sciences, Mathematics, and the Arts. The Extended Essay (EE) is an independent research project where students choose a topic of interest and write a 4,000-word essay. Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS) requires students to engage in creative pursuits, physical activities, and community service.
Assessment in the IB Diploma Program is both internal and external. Internal assessments are conducted by teachers throughout the program and may include essays, oral presentations, and practical projects. External assessments are conducted by external examiners and typically include written exams at the end of the two-year program.
